No matter how traumatic a break up may be, or potential break up, please know, that when that door closes, it’s only so another, stronger relationship can be formed.
Sometimes relationships which you thought were it have to die so something more positive can enter your life.
I recently went through this and am simply amazed at the difference.

Here’s a personal story.
I had all but given up on love, never thought I’d find “the one”
Only due to encouragement from a friend who told me “it can’t hurt to try” I signed up for a dating app.
I looked for what seemed like forever, and out of pure frustration, I changed my bio to:
Every time I open this app I feel like I’m going to die alone”, (and yes I was being honest).
It was discouraging, even a little depressing.
But that one line.

“Every time I open this app I feel like I’m going to die alone”.
That little piece of me being raw, was what caught the attention of who I can now proudly say is the love of my life.

Don’t be afraid to be you

The person you are meant to be with will see the beauty in it, even if it is scary.

Something to keep in mind both in a relationship and in the dating arena:

Be selective
Protect your time
Not everyone who calls your name is for you

The old saying “when you know, you know” is true.
Listen to your gut instinct, and don’t get wrapped up with an infatuation.
That feeling of knowing you made the right decision is amazingly comforting.

Arguments tend to be the beginning of a gap between a couple, especially “he said-she said” disagreements/ arguments.
It’s easier said than done to simply let these go sometimes, however it is an essential tool to learn in order to maintain a strong relationship.

A lot of times “he said-she said disagreements are derived from unmet needs.
