We employ the Montessori, Waldorf, Outdoor School & Multiple Intelligences padagogies.
Our “classroom” is both indoors & outdoors. All learning takes place through multi-modal, multi-sensory collaboration. With a small teacher-to-student ratio, your child will thrive and have loads of fun learning and growing.
👩🏻🏫 Classes are led by Mrs. Holmes, a seasoned Special Education Teacher, Arts and Culinary Instructor. She is also the mother of 4 children ages 15-26. As a foster/adoptive mom to 18 children in 20 years, classroom teacher in a local school district and Birthworker, she has a current background check on file and can be trusted to care for youth of any age.
We are accepting 4 students per week. We currently have openings in June, July & August for children ages 5-12. In addition we can support most students on IEPS.
Parents are invited (if they’d like) to join our daily camp (with a current background check.) Every week we will either go on a field trip or have a special presenter come to our camp to entertain and teach us.
Students are required to bring a lunch & refillable water bottle each day, however healthy snacks and juice are provided. On cooking days no lunch required.
Parents may enroll their child in as many or as few weekly sessions over the summer. Sibling discounts available. 1 sliding scale or scholarshipped student spot is available. Please inquire!
Each week there will be a theme and all learning will happen within the context of that theme.
A small supply fee will apply to each week of enrollment. This fee covers either fieldtrip entrance fee or guest presenter fee, specialty arts & craft or cooking supplies.
Parent drivers needed on field trip days (must have vehicle insurance & a clean driving record to transport students.)
We do ask that each family provide their child with:
1 Notebook
1 glue stick
1 pencil
1 pack of markers
1 pack of crayons
A Backpack
Sunscreen

Our first session starts Monday June 19th. Our camp operates from 9:00am until 1:00pm on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays. National holidays are observed. Extended day care is available on a limited basis. The same rate applies ($22.50 p/hr.). Additional academics and/or activities along with a rest period will be added during extended day. For those interested in additional days (Tuesday/Thursday,) please inquire to make arrangements.
