Happy Labor Day from Grace Christian School!

Today we give thanks to God for the many gifts, talents, and opportunities He gives us to serve others through our work. We are especially thankful for our teachers, staff, families, and community members who faithfully use their gifts to make a difference each day.

Celebrate Education Sunday at Grace!

Join us on Sunday, September 13th at the 9:00 AM service as we celebrate Christian education and give thanks for the many ways God is at work at Grace.

All of our Grace students will be singing during the service! We would love to have our school and church families together as we support our students and celebrate the blessing of Christian education.

Our 6th grade scientists wrapped up their stalactite and stalagmite demonstration this week!

Earlier this week, students learned how stalactites and stalagmites form and then created their own demonstration using water and Epsom salt. Throughout the week, they observed the changes, sketched what they saw, and tracked the formation process.

Friday was time for their final observations and analysis. What a great hands-on way to bring science to life!

Our Kindergarten and 1st Grade students have been working hard and having lots of fun along the way!

They’ve been busy learning their letters and sounds, practicing their writing, and even putting those skills together to write short sentences. We love seeing our youngest learners grow in confidence as they build a strong foundation for the years ahead.

Learning, growing, and having fun together—that’s a great day at Grace!

Today our Middle School students wrapped up their public speaking sessions by putting their new skills to the test!

Each student delivered a 60-second speech on a fun topic, including the best movie or video game ever made, a school rule they would create or abolish, why their favorite hobby is harder than it looks, or how they would spend one million dollars.

Public speaking is about more than giving a speech. It helps students build confidence, organize their thoughts, communicate clearly, and become stronger leaders. These are skills we’ll continue building throughout the year and that our students will carry well beyond Grace.

Hands-on learning in action!

Our 2nd and 3rd grade students got an up-close look at rock fossils. Experiences like this give students the opportunity to explore, ask questions, make discoveries, and bring what they are learning in the classroom to life.

Today we celebrated our first Preschool Chapel of the new school year!

It was wonderful to be back together outside, singing, praising Jesus, and learning more about His love for us.

Chapel is a special part of life at Grace Christian Preschool. Even our youngest students have opportunities to grow in their faith and learn that Jesus knows them, loves them, and calls them by name.

Today our 6th graders learned an important responsibility: flag etiquette!

Each school day, our 6th grade students are responsible for raising and lowering the American flag on campus. Today they learned how to properly handle, care for, and fold the flag.

It’s a simple daily responsibility that teaches respect, teamwork, leadership, and service to our school community.

We’re proud to see our students learning that leadership often begins with faithfully taking care of the responsibilities entrusted to them.

Our K–8 students will have Picture Day on Thursday, September 3. Students may wear free dress for their pictures; please be sure all clothing follows the free dress guidelines in the Family Handbook.
