Cougars Cruisin’: EHS alumni to gather for opening night

Escondido High School Alumni will be gathering at Cruisin’ Grand’s opening night, Friday, June 5. They will congregate at The Maple Street Plaza from 3-8 p.m.

This get-together is in conjunction with the 79th “Golden Reunion” that will be on Saturday, June 6 at The California Center for the Arts, Escondido. This event honors EHS graduates from 50 years ago or more and will be hosted by the EHS Class of 1974; the class of 1976 will be welcomed as the “baby class.”

A selection of classic cars that belong to EHS graduates will also be on display at The Plaza.

One last note as we are getting close to reunion time. There is still time to sign up. We have been told that for Cruise Night on Friday June 5, 2026, we will be meeting on Maple and Grand. Unfortunately, they were unable to reserve the Broadway and Grand spot we have each year so please be sure to walk a block west to Maple and Grand to meet up with your classmates. If you can’t make it to the reunion please try and stop by on Cruise Night and say Hi to us.

You are invited to join your classmates and over 500 other Cougars on June 6th, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Feel free to dress for comfort and movement.
