Registration for the 2026–2027 school year starts this week! 🎉

Registration appointments are for returning students and their families to re-enroll, review the previous year, and select classes for the upcoming school year.

Meet ASB alum, Karla Heredia! ✨

Karla was a part of A Step Beyond's third graduating cohort in 2025, completing our 10-year program. Today, she is pursuing her passion for supporting children and families while studying Child and Adolescent Studies and working toward her Master’s in Social Work. She currently attends CSU Fullerton.

Since graduating, Karla has continued to grow her confidence and use her experiences at ASB to guide her path toward a career in child welfare. Her journey shows how building confidence and purpose can inspire students to make a difference in their communities.

✨ Learning today. Preparing for tomorrow.

Career exploration is a key part of helping students build bright futures, and we're grateful to Pima Medical Institute for opening the door to new possibilities!

Our students explored the programs and career opportunities at Pima Medical Institute through a hands-on session with an occupational therapist, learning about the technologies occupational therapy assistants use to support patients.

They also put their financial literacy skills to the test in a budgeting activity, where they were assigned careers, selected living expenses, and built monthly budgets based on their paychecks, reinforcing the importance of making informed financial decisions and living within their means.

Experiences like these help students explore future careers while building practical life skills they'll carry long after graduation. 💜

We are so grateful for the continued partnership and support of the Switchfoot Bro-Am Foundation.

This year, ASB youth attended Beach Fest, where they enjoyed surf lessons, games, lunch, VIP concert access, and the opportunity to meet the band. It was a day filled with fun, connection, and unforgettable memories.

Beyond these experiences, Bro-Am's support helps provide free dance education, academic support, and family services for youth and families living at or below the poverty line in our community.
