10X Academy is a Christian, project-based, middle and high school for boys. We believe that school should be fun and driven by personalized learning.
10X is designed to address the real questions of education. What is the best way to learn key subjects like math, science, language, coding, and history? How can we use education to help our kids become self-sufficient, be armed with technical skills, and be team players aware of their own passions and the strengths of others? It’s as simple as this: Building things in a competitive environment is FUN for boys and connects learning to the real-world.

The students and staff had a blast at the 8th grade beach camping trip this past Friday. From beach baseball, cooking popcorn and smores over the fire, and swimming, it was one of our favorite memories from the entire school year!
Our favorite highlight of our buzzer be**er battle bot competition from last season! This season the boys are creating their own 3D printed rollercoasters and we can't wait to see how creative the boys get for the final PBL project of the school year.

Our Season 5 Ceremony was a blast last Friday! The teams got to celebrate their achievements throughout the season, discuss the steps they took to creating their 3D robots from PBL, and show parents their battle bots go at it. There is one more season left this year and we're going to make it the best season yet!

All students agree that this PBL session has been the best one yet! The boys got to spend this season learning how to 3D print and circuitry, creating 3D printed battle bots to drive and compete against each other. Friendly competition and creative is what these kids strive on and we're so proud with how hard they worked to perfect their projects!

Lots of fun times and adventures this past week at 10X! The boys had the opportunity to get out and feel the fresh Spring air with our hike at Dixon Lake. The 10X volleyball team also had a stellar week, finishing out their season with a 2-2 record. Season 5 has been a blast so far and we've only just begun!

Another end to another great season. The boys had the opportunity last week to display their creations from their electives and Project-Based Learning assignment, read some of their poetry from Ms. Drake's class, and receive awards. Season 5, here we come!

We broke our student constructed truss bridges this week. This one held over 300lbs. and collapsed the 5 gallon bucket used to support it. We had to bring in the 10X Van to finish it off! Check out our story to see the destruction.

The boys had the most fun time at Mesa Rim yesterday rock climbing and free climbing! Students got to challenge and bond together and are already excited for our next visit. Shoutout to Mesa Rim in San Marcos for having 10X!
