What is SWAGG?
SWAGG is a writing tool High School and College students can use to introduce and explain sources they use in an essay to defend their thesis. It can be used repeatedly, from rough draft to final draft to make sure your sources are cited correctly and succinctly.

What does this picture have to do with writing?
Well, as I sit here on the Washougal, WA riverbed on a sandbar Iām realizing what a story this could be! Ice cold rushing water from the glacier, sunny day, rocks with hard, rough edges biting into my feet. AND these are just a few things in my immediate space.
Take a look around families! Create a narrative simply by living in the present.

The way individual words, phrases, and sentences sound together when read one after another. By using sentences with different beginnings and different lengths, you create interest and rhythm in what you are writing.

Parents - are your kids having a hard time with run-on sentences? We often see this when kids are entering our writing programs at the Future Paced Writing System.
We spend TIME on this subject -
perfecting the "structure of the sentence."
I'd like to offer a color-coded practice worksheet I created:
"The Four Types of Sentences" for parents to use with your kids.
