I Block at Ignite

Once each semester, I Block gives students the opportunity to follow their interests, explore their passions, and discover something new. Students choose an activity led by a teacher who is sharing a passion of their own, creating an experience that is interactive, inspiring, and engaging.

I Block is all about interconnecting—bringing students together from across all of Ignite’s colleges to learn, create, and experience something they might not encounter in their everyday classes.

It’s a time to invest in what inspires you, interact with others, and ignite a passion for learning.

Please note the Dual Credit sign up application MUST be completed by SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4 for scholars who want dual credit classes in the Spring semester.

Pep Rallies Friday!

We will have buses come early on that day to pick up ALL bus riders of that school to take them to the pep rally. There will not be another bus run that afternoon. Car DRIVERS will also be dismissed to go to the pep rallies.

PLEASE REMEMBER IF SCHOLARS LEAVE IGNITE EARLY TO GO TO A PEP RALLY, THEY MUST ATTEND THE PEP RALLY.

Please read on if your Ignite scholar is CURRENTLY taking a dual enrollment course during the Fall 2026 semester. These instructions are for current dual enrollment scholars only.

9th grade (Education students only): you are not yet eligible for the Dual Credit Scholarship; however, you can get the Work Ready Dual Credit Scholarship (WKDC) for classes like EDU 104 and EDU 305 . This is for qualifying Career and Technical Education dual credit courses. Please see the attached directions to enter your preferences for the WKDC Scholarship.

10th graders: you are not yet eligible for the Dual Credit Scholarship; however, you can get the Work Ready Dual Credit Scholarship (WKDC) for classes like EDU classes and CIT 105. This is for qualifying Career and Technical Education dual credit courses. Please see the attached directions to enter your preferences for the WKDC Scholarship. Most commonly taken class that qualifies is CIT 105.

11th and 12th graders: You are eligible for 1 free class per year under Dual Credit Scholarship (general education classes) and up to 2 more free classes under the WKDC Scholarship (CTE courses) if you have both on your schedule. You will need to log in and go through the attached process for both of them.
