Dear Blue Mountain Families and Friends,
19 years ago we had a dream - to build a Montessori School, fill it with children, and teach in a way that our hearts knew was possible. We were young (thank goodness) and naive. We were also driven, and passionate about what we knew children deserved. We opened our doors in 2007 and have welcomed hundreds of children into the Blue Mountain Family. What we didn’t realize at the time was that we were building something so much more than just a little Montessori School.
Blue Mountain Montessori has been a true work of the heart. It’s been a growing community and family of incredible people who have trusted us with their greatest treasure. We’ve been lucky enough to witness so many beautiful firsts for children and parents. We’ve watched children and families grow up, and we’ve grown up right alongside so many of them. We’ve laughed with you, cried with you, challenged you, held you, and led you. And still, we have learned so much more than we have taught.
With an abundance of gratitude and the fullest hearts, we have decided to close Blue Mountain Montessori at the end of this school year. Our own families are calling for our full attention and hearts, and it is time to shift our focus. Beautiful endings can also be beautiful beginnings. We know that closing the chapter on something so special and meaningful to find peace and greatness on the next page is possible.
