Indoor play places allow your child to work on their strength, flexibility, and gross motor skills, helping them develop into strong and healthy toddlers. When you take your child to an indoor playground, they will be able to let their imagination run wild in a safe and secure space.

Celebrating Dr. Seuss Week starting today
It’s starts March 2nd- March 6th, 2023
Why celebrate Dr. Seuss?
Seuss books provide a creative, fun, and interesting way for children to play with sounds and learn about mapping sounds to print. Many of his stories incorporate problem-solving and early critical thinking as well.”
Dr. Seuss's ability to include repeated sounds and engaging storylines support children as they connect sounds to letters.
The lesson: Celebrate our own individuality and uniqueness.
Seuss makes a good point that people should celebrate themselves on their birthday (and every day for that matter). And just in case you forget that lesson, here's a rhyming quote to help you remember: “I am what I am! That's a great thing to be!

Why is cleaning up important for preschoolers to learn ?
The physical act of cleaning will get your child moving, and working their larger muscle groups. Actions like wiping, sweeping, and dusting can provide opportunities to move in new ways. Additionally, picking up toys works core, arm and leg muscles.

Barb’s Family Learning Group Daycare LLC visited Mason Farms today!
Pumpkins allow for a lot of sensory learning opportunities at the preschool age.
Kids can dive right into a pumpkin and feel the pulp and seeds run through their fingers.
After the seeds are discovered and explored, they provide excellent manipulatives for math and much more!

Taking preschool students to the library is beneficial because it promotes: Hearing language, being read aloud to, socialization, cognitive development for building later learning, modeling reading aloud and interaction for parents and caregivers, reading motivation, playing with language.

At Barbs Family Learning Daycare
It is the mission of the Barb”s Family Learning Daycare to provide quality child care for all families in the community in a warm, nurturing, loving and educational environment. The child care needs of all economic levels are served, enabling families to obtain employment or to further their education.
It is the Goal of the Barbs Family Learning Group Daycare LLC:
To provide high quality, developmentally appropriate child care for preschool children with focus on the individual child’s age and ability to stimulate social, cognitive, physical and emotional growth.
To provide a safe, nurturing and recreational environment for school age children
while their parents work or attend school
To provide opportunities for families to be involved with their children’s education and have access to parenting support and education.
The objectives of the Barbs Family Learning Group Daycare LLC are:
To provide a curriculum which enables each child to develop new skills at their own ability levels, to prepare each child to succeed in kindergarten and to provide a safe, healthy environment for the children so their parents can obtain peace of mind about their child’s care.
