Strong Vincent GO College

Santa and Mrs Clause were a huge hit at SVMS. A few of our very own GO College kids got to meet (and hug) them. Thanks Gannon University and Ms. Byrd for such a wonderful day.

Today was a first for our GO College SVMS students. We saw the Nutcracker Reimagined school performance at the beautiful Warner Theatre (a few of our very own GO College students danced) followed by Subway lunch at Gannon U and a presentation/tour of the Education Dept. at Gannon. Thank you Lake Erie Ballet, Dr. LaPaglia and Ms. Kelly for a life changing experience.

Our GO College SVMS students found out about careers in the entertainment/performance fields and watched the Erie Youth Theatre's performance of Emma. What a joy!

Today was Ms Kelly's first GO College campus visit with her SVMS students. Rain didn't dampen our day; it only made it more colorful. Thank you Penn West Edinboro. You made our day.

Doc Mary and our new GO College SVMS coordinator, Ms. Z are in the house (open house) at SV. Welcome Ms. Z. Stop by and meet her.

Another GO College Camp week is in the books. Today we graced the city of Pittsburgh at then Carnegie Science Center and the Pittsburgh Zoo. We will miss these kids but we'll see you in September.

Today's GO College events led us to the Erie Community College, the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, Sara's for lunch and a tour of Presque Isle on the Lady Kate. One more day to rock.

Kudos to the Biology Dept. at Gannon University and Dr. Carol Amann from the Nursing Dept. Because of all of you, our GO College students are more equipped and inspired to consider futures in the sciences.

A huge shout out to today's helpers AHN, Lawrence Park Fire Department , East County EMS, Harborcreek Township,UPMC Hamot ,Wesleyville PDK9 , and the Fairfield Hose Company for providing an excellent day of CPR and rescue training for our GO College students.

So psyched. Rising Freshman Week is next week. See you all there!!
