HISTORY MADE!
Tonight, Vinnie Feliciano etched his name into the record books, breaking Zach Helsley’s all-time leading rushing record for Mercyhurst Prep, Erie City, and Erie County.

Zach’s remarkable record of 5,752 rushing yards stood as the standard for excellence, but tonight Vinnie surpassed that mark and now sits atop the leaderboard.

Congratulations to Vinnie on an incredible achievement that reflects years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. A special nod as well to Zach Helsley, whose record-setting career set the bar for future generations of Lakers.

What a special moment for Mercyhurst Prep football and Erie County sports history!

Today our hearts are full.

Our Mercyhurst Prep community began the day with the honor of receiving a citation from Rep. Bob Merski and Rep. Jake Banta, recognizing our school’s 100 years of educating and serving others.

We were then blessed to gather in prayer, led by Archbishop Dermot Farrell of Dublin, before our students set out across the Erie community for our annual Mercy Day of Service.

From celebration to service, today was a powerful reminder of who we are and what it means to live the Mercy mission. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so meaningful.
