Pride Month is a celebration, but visibility, belonging, and expression matter all year long.
In Q***r Art Rising, Erie Reader highlights LGBTQIA+ artists across Erie whose work is helping build community, create space, and expand visibility through art. Featuring voices from visual art, fiber art, drag, and performance, the story explores how q***r artists are shaping Erie’s cultural landscape while fostering connection, representation, and belonging.
At Erie Arts & Culture, we believe q***r artists and q***r communities are an essential part of the creative life of Erie and northwest Pennsylvania. This Pride Month, we’re proud to celebrate the artists, organizers, and spaces helping make our region more inclusive, vibrant, and connected.
