There’s something pretty special about watching a community show up for creativity. 💛
To everyone who made a gift, shared a post, told a friend, cheered us on, or simply took a moment to learn more about our work this Erie Gives—thank you.
Your generosity is a reminder that the arts matter here. That imagination deserves room to grow. That our stories and traditions are worth carrying forward. That artists deserve communities that stand behind them. And that everyone should have the chance to experience the joy of creating.
Erie Gives may be over, but what you set in motion is only beginning. Your support will find its way into classrooms, studios, neighborhoods, performances, businesses, and creative spaces across our region in ways big and small.
We are so grateful that you chose to be part of our story—and even more excited for all the stories still waiting to be written.
From all of us at Erie Arts & Culture, thank you for showing up for the arts. 💛
Erie Arts and Culture
Nurturing a vibrant region by elevating, inspiring, and connecting artists and organizations in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
As Erie Gives begins to wind down, we keep coming back to one thing: every artist has a beginning.
A person who noticed. A teacher who encouraged. A community that made space. Someone who opened a door and helped them see what was possible.
Today, you became part of those stories.
Every gift, every share, every kind word, and every person who chose to believe in this work helps create more opportunities for artists, students, teaching artists, creative entrepreneurs, and culture bearers across our region.
There is still time to be part of this incredible day. If Erie Arts & Culture has ever brought creativity, connection, beauty, or possibility into your life, we hope you'll help us pass that feeling on.
Before they were artists, someone believed in them. Who needs a chance next?
From all of us at Erie Arts & Culture, thank you for saying yes. 💛

Today is Erie Gives.
From midnight to midnight, our community comes together for one powerful day of giving across the Erie region.
When you give to Erie Arts & Culture today, you help create access, opportunity, and possibility through the arts.
Your gift supports artists, teaching artists, creative entrepreneurs, cultural workers, and community-based arts experiences. It helps open doors for the next student, the next storyteller, the next performer, the next culture bearer, the next creative business owner, and the next person waiting for someone to say yes.
Before every artist becomes who they are, there is a moment when someone believes in them.
Today, your yes can help create that moment.

🎨 Erie Gives starts NOW—and today, your yes can make a difference.
Your gift to Erie Arts & Culture can open a door, spark an idea, encourage an artist to keep going, inspire a student, or help a creative entrepreneur take their next step.
Think about the people who encouraged your creativity along the way. Today, you have the chance to be that person for someone else.
Every gift helps create moments where people are seen, supported, and inspired to believe in what’s possible.
It’s Erie Gives Day. Make your mark and help create someone’s next opportunity!
A message from Susannah Faulkner, Executive Director of Erie Arts & Culture.
Tomorrow is Erie Gives, and we are asking our community to say yes to the artists, teaching artists, creative entrepreneurs, cultural workers, and community-based arts experiences that make Erie stronger.
Your gift helps create access to the arts. It helps open doors. It helps support the people and programs that make creativity possible across our region.
On August 11, your donation to Erie Arts & Culture can help create the next moment of opportunity for someone in our community.

Why give to Erie Arts & Culture on Erie Gives Day?
Because every artist’s story starts somewhere
It starts with access. Encouragement. A space to create. A person who believes in them. A community willing to say yes before the path is fully clear.
Through Erie Arts & Culture, your gift helps support artists, teaching artists, creative entrepreneurs, cultural workers, and community-based arts experiences across our region.
This Erie Gives Day, your donation is more than a gift. It is a yes to the next artist, the next story, the next creative business, the next student, and the next moment of possibility.

The Art of Becoming: Literary Arts
Before the book, the poem, the essay, or the story, there is a voice trying to find its way.
A sentence written down. A memory given shape. An idea that keeps asking to be explored. A world waiting to be imagined.
For literary artists, the beginning often starts quietly — with curiosity, encouragement, and the belief that their words, ideas, and stories matter.
This Erie Gives Day, your gift to Erie Arts & Culture helps support the artists and storytellers whose voices shape the cultural life of our region.
When you give, you help make space for more stories to be written, shared, and heard.

Casey Corritore’s connection to the arts is personal. Before becoming Erie Arts & Culture’s Director of Impact and Grants, Casey was a cellist, shaped by the discipline, expression, confidence, and connection the arts can create.
That perspective is part of what guides Casey's work today: helping support artists, teaching artists, cultural workers, creative entrepreneurs, and community-based arts experiences across the Erie region.
This Erie Gives Day, your gift to Erie Arts & Culture helps make those moments possible for someone else.
A first lesson.A first performance.A first opportunity.A first time realizing their voice, story, or creativity matters. On August 11, your yes can help create the next moment of becoming.
Give to Erie Arts & Culture through Erie Gives, midnight to midnight.
