🎶 Save the Date, Spartans! 🎶

We’re excited to cheer on the Erie Day School Choir as they take the ice for their first performance of the year! Our students will sing the National Anthem at the Erie Otters game on Sunday, October 11. 🏒🎤

The game begins at 4:00 p.m., with our singers performing at the start of the game. We’d love to fill the stands with EDS families for a fun afternoon together and, most importantly, to support our Spartan singers!

🚨 CROSS COUNTRY SCRIMMAGE CANCELED 🚨

Thursday evening’s (9/17) Cross Country Scrimmage has been CANCELED due to the continued closure of Frontier Park.

The safety of our Spartan runners, families, and fellow competitors is our top priority, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the City of Erie and LEAF crews who have been working tirelessly to clean up our community following the storm. We are incredibly grateful for all you are doing to help Erie recover. 💚

Stay safe, Spartans!

We are incredibly grateful to Erie Insurance for its continued investment in Erie Day School through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

EITC contributions provide the foundation for Erie Day School’s scholarship program, helping ensure that finances are not a barrier for families who desire an Erie Day School education.

Thank you, Erie Insurance , for investing in education, opportunity, and the future of our students.

🍦🎉 Founders Day is sweeter with sprinkles!

Last Friday, our Spartans wrapped up Founders Day with an after-school Ice Cream Social! A big thank you to our wonderful Parent Group for hosting—and, most importantly, making sure there were plenty of sprinkles to go around! ✨

What a sweet way to celebrate our EDS community! 💚

Today, Erie Day School joins our nation in observing September 11th as a National Day of Service and Remembrance.

We remember the lives lost, honor the courage and selflessness shown in the face of tragedy, and reflect on the strength found when people come together in service to others.

As a school community, may we continue to teach our children that even the smallest acts of kindness, compassion, and service can make a difference.

“When we unite in purpose, we are capable of overcoming any obstacle, even in the face of tragedy.” — Condoleezza Rice

We remember. We honor. We serve.

🐿️ Someone is VERY concerned that he missed the first day of school.

No backpack. No lunch. No paperwork. Just determination. 😂

We love the enthusiasm, but we may need to review the admissions requirements. 💚

With the first week of school officially underway, it feels like the perfect time for a little trip down memory lane! 💚 We loved spotting some familiar Erie Day School faces in this look back at Erie’s educators—including former EDS teachers and even a few alumni students who made their way into the photos.

Here’s to the teachers who have shaped generations of Erie students—and those continuing that work today! 🍎📚
