We are so excited to share a project update on our I-HACK fourth floor space that will be home to two very important community partnerships soon! 👀
You'll find our new AHN Saint Vincent School of Medical Laboratory Science student laboratory space on one side of the space.
On the other side, you'll find shared classroom space and our First Ascent Biomedical lab and research space going in. First Ascent is a Florida-based company that will plant roots in Erie, Pa., to conduct personalized cancer treatment research through AI-driven methods.

In honor of National Mascot Day, we give you "A Love Letter to Victor E. Knight." ❤️💛⚔️
Dear Victor,
Where do we even begin?
To our Knight in shining armor. Our selfie-loving, rambunctious, kind-hearted and fun-loving mascot.
You've cheered us on through tough games, welcomed new students to campus, high-fived approximately 17,000 people (give or take), and never once complained about wearing armor in August.
You're the first face many students meet and the unofficial king of photobombing.
You bring the energy. You bring the spirit. You bring the dance moves that no one asked for but everyone secretly loves.
On this National Mascot Day, we just wanted to say thank you for being the heart of the Gannon family. Campus wouldn't be the same without your enthusiasm, your antics and your commitment to making every day a little more fun. We love you, Victor.

GU Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences hosted their annual Health Explorations Camp last week. This camp welcomes students from Cathedral Prep’s med path program to explore various careers in healthcare through engaging guest speakers and hands on activities in occupational therapy, nursing, respiratory care and more.
We are excited to welcome these students as they learn more about the variety of opportunities available as they prepare for their future.

Gannon University has secured more than $206,000 in funding through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development's Manufacturing PA Innovation Program to support three collaborative projects with regional manufacturing partners.
🔴 Development of a urinary backflow prevention device in partnership with Mihna Medical Technologies, supported by a $69,878 award.
🟡 Hempcrete for high-temperature insulation in partnership with Hayden Hunter Weaver Co., supported by a $69,878 award.
🔴 Developing and manufacturing a sustainable sheet-structured platform for ambient temperature biosample storage in partnership with ITSI Biosciences LLC, supported by a $66,832 award.
