This week we celebrate our youngest Eagles and all they have learned, and accomplished this year. We are so proud of their growth and cannot wait to see them soar in Kindergarten!

To the families of our Pre-K graduates of 2026 - Time flies, enjoy every moment. Before you know it we will be celebrating again as we congratulate the future Class of 2039! 🦅💙💛

Diehl Highlight: 5th Grade Awards

Congratulations to our 5th grade students who were honored at the Awards Ceremony yesterday.

Diehl Highlight: Field Day

As we wind down the end of the school year, Diehl held its annual Field Day event. Students enjoyed a variety of team challenges with their classmates, especially the ones with a water feature.

A special thank you to Mr. Smith, Physical Education Teacher, and the Diehl 5th Grade students for helping set up and run the activities.

Diehl Spotlight: Diehl Student Leaders

Diehl was represented at the United Way Community School Student Leadership Retreat at Penn State Behrend. Students created reflection posters about their year through Leadership, solved a mystery puzzle together as a team, and participated in many teambuilding activities with other schools and enjoyed lunch and Penn State Creamery.

Diehl Highlights: Spring Fling

A big THANK YOU to all the Diehl students and their families that came out for Spring Fling - our final family event of the school year. We could not have hosted the event without the help of Diehl staff, administration, and our student leaders.

Diehl Highlight: Cultural Music Lesson

Mrs. Anderson's music class welcomed special guests Mr. Mustafa and Mr. David to lead the students in expanded learning in cultural music themes.

Last night Ms. Leslie Perfetto, our amazing first grade teacher was honored with the Bravo award at the school board meeting. We are so proud of her! Ms. Perfetto is a shining example of the heart of Diehl School. We love to see so many of our EPS family educators being celebrated. We ❤️ EPS teachers, and especially Ms. Perfetto!

💙 Last night, during our School Board Meeting, we recognized staff members with our monthly Bravo Awards.

Each month, we alternate between recognizing staff and students, celebrating the individuals who go above and beyond to make a difference in our schools.

This month, we are proud to honor the hard-working staff whose dedication, compassion, and commitment to supporting our students shine every day.

Student Spotlight: Jessica Chauwan

Congratulations to Jessica Chauwan, Diehl 5th Grade student. Jessica was a finalist for the Highmark Caring Place poster contest. It was her second consecutive year being a finalist.

A Happy Mother's Day to all of our Diehl Moms. 🌼❤️

Today was full of smiles, snacks, and celebration as our Diehl Eagle mascot rolled the snack cart around to surprise our amazing teachers and staff! 🦅💙💛

From treats and goodies to laughs and photos, it was a wonderful reminder of just how much our staff means to our school community. Our teachers and staff pour their hearts into our students every single day, and this week is all about celebrating them and the incredible impact they make.

A huge THANK YOU to our partners at the United Way of Erie County for helping make this such a special day and Teacher Appreciation Week possible. Your partnership and support mean so much to our Diehl family!
