Great news! 🎉 TREC is back open! The building, gift shop, and theater are all ready to welcome you. Come on in!

TREC is temporarily closed following a recent storm-related power outage. We're working hard to get back up and running, stay tuned for updates.

Unfortunately due to the power outage and no estimated time for it to be restored, TREC will be closed all day today and we are cancelling the after hours program as well.

Presque Isle State Park and TREC are currently closed due to power outages and storm damage. Stay tuned for updates.

What a great day to keep our marinas beautiful! Today we helped load hundreds of boats worth of shrink wrap into the Firelands Local compactor truck to be recycled into guardrail offset blocks. Thank you to the Regional Science Consortium in partnership with the Erie Western Pennsylvania Port Authority, Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, Erie County Department of Planning and Community Development, and Erie County Department of Health - Pennsylvania for organizing such an impactful project.

This starts TONIGHT and looks like one of the best additions to free family fun in Erie this summer!☀️

Tonight's kickoff includes fishing casting practice, yard games, nature play, and plenty of ways for kids to explore and burn off some energy.
