-Mercyhurst University (Erie Campus) Hammermill Library, on the main floor outside of Rm 224.

Purpose:
-Read over assignments and essays
-Work with students on global revisions and other large scale writing concerns
-Aid students in improving their writing skills

What Students Need to Know:
-Though walk in appointments are occasionally available, it is preferable that students sign up for a consultation on TutorTrac or come by Room 224 during drop in hours
-It is strongly encouraged that in addition to the assignment, you also bring the assignment sheet from your professor (if one was distributed). This sheet helps consultants to better understand the assignment.
-The Writing Center is not a "drop off service" but rather a cooperative effort between the student and consultant to improve writing quality.
-Appointments generally last 30 minutes and can be utilized as many times as a person deems necessary for an assignment.
