Double the pages, double the fun! There is nothing quite like watching our littlest friends explore the magic of books together. From pointing at bright pictures to practicing those fine motor skills by lifting flaps and turning pages, early literacy is all about discovery and connection. 🐾 Staff Spotlight: Pet Edition 🐾

Meet Daisey, our founder Ms. Pamela’s four-year-old sidekick and resident expert in the finer things in life.

Her standards are high: blankets must be warm, chairs must be cushioned, attention must be plentiful and pets should always be available on demand.

Daisey keeps a close eye on things from the best seat in the building and brings a little extra joy to everyone’s day. We’re lucky to have her on the team! 💙

We’re paws-itively excited for this week’s Tip Tuesday all about staying safe and kind around our furry best friends. 🐾

Little ones are learning that pet safety starts with gentle hands, asking first, giving animals space, and always having an adult nearby. Helping children respect pets’ boundaries is a great way to build both safety skills and empathy. 💛

Flash back to kindergarten. ✏️

It’s the first day of school, your teacher hands you a paper and says, “Write your first and last name at the top.”

Cue the tiny internal panic.

That’s why name writing is such an exciting Pre-K milestone. We practice recognizing the letters in our names, building pencil control, forming letters, and slowly gaining the confidence to say, “I know how to do this!”

It’s not about perfect handwriting. It’s about helping little learners feel capable, independent, and ready for what comes next. 💛

This week at Exploring Minds Academy, we’re learning with a little Pete the Cat energy. 💙🐾 We’re exploring a Pets theme through stories, songs, movement, feelings, friendship, and hands-on play.

Our 2-year-olds will be building pet vocabulary, talking about emotions, enjoying pet-themed fingerplays, and playing a fun “Fetch the Ball” game. 🐶🐱

Big smiles and tiny tickets! Our Preschool and Pre-K had a magical week! They played games, shared laughs, and explored the sights and sounds of the carnival. The absolute highlight of the week, our epic foam party! The children had a blast splashing, dancing, and chasing giant bubbles. Step right up! Carnival week is in full swing, and our school-age campers are running the show! Our talented engineers spent the week designing and building their very own carnival rides. The creativity on display was absolutely incredible! The fun didn't stop there. We played classic carnival games, enjoyed a high-energy foam party, and treated ourselves to the ultimate carnival snacks-fresh popcorn and fluffy cotton candy! This wraps up our 2026 Summer Camp. It was an amazing 12 weeks! We can't wait until next year!

Our school-age summer campers had an incredible week exploring the deep blue sea through fun trips, beautiful art, and tasty treats. Here is a look at what we did: Denver Aquarium Trip: Campers saw real sharks, stinrays, and tropical fish ip close. Ocean paintings: Everyone channeled their inner artist to paint beautiful, vibrant underwater scenes. Edible Sea Turtles: We made (and quickly ate!) adorable, healthy snacks using fresh apples and grapes.

Our final week of camp will be Carnival Adventure!
