🎃 WE’RE STILL LOOKING FOR TRUNKS, AND VOLUNTEERS! 🎃

Red Hawk’s 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat is coming up on October 23, and we need our amazing Red Hawk families to help us make it an incredible night for our kids!

There are two ways you can help:

🚙 HOST A TRUNK

Decorating a trunk doesn’t have to be complicated or elaborate. Pick a fun theme, add a few decorations, grab some treats and come join the fun! Simple trunks are just as welcome as the over-the-top ones.

Our goal is at least 25 trunks this year, so the more families who join us, the more fun it will be for our Red Hawk kids!

🙋 VOLUNTEER AT THE EVENT

Not interested in decorating a trunk? We need lots of helping hands throughout the evening too! Volunteers can help run activities, sell concessions and help make the night a success.

👉 Sign up to volunteer:

📅 Friday, October 23
⏰ 5:00–7:00 PM
📍 Red Hawk Elementary Front Parking Lot

And if volunteering or decorating a trunk isn’t your thing, save the date and come enjoy the evening with us!

Costumes are encouraged, but please leave toy swords, blasters and masks at home. St. Vrain’s guidelines still apply.

🎉 Concessions and other proceeds will go to Red Hawk PTO.

It takes our whole community to make nights like this happen. Let’s make our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat an amazing one for our kids!👻

CAN YOU HELP US TAKE CARE OF OUR RED HAWK STAFF TOMORROW?

Tomorrow is another Parent-Teacher Conference night, which means an extra-long day for our teachers and staff as they stay late to meet with families.

One of the small ways our Red Hawk community can show our appreciation is by making sure they have a good meal waiting for them, and we still have a few spots where we could really use some help for tomorrow night.

A few of the things we still need are easy to grab while you’re out today: a pack of seltzer, Spindrift or sparkling water, an 8- or 12-pack of soda, and a couple of desserts. We could also use a little help with cleanup at the end of the evening.

If you’re able to help with any of these, or another open item on the sign-up, we would be so grateful. Every contribution helps!

It takes a community to care for the people who spend every day caring for our kids, and this is such a simple way for us to do that together. ❤️

🍽️ Sign up here:

Please sign up to bring something to contribute to help us feed our teachers and staff dinner on the nights they stay late for conferences. Please drop off items to the school no later than 3:00pm of the day of the meal your item is for. Tuesday, September 29 - Taco Bar Thursday, October 1 - Greek W...

🌟❤️ September Staff Spotlight: Ms. Tonya! ❤️🌟

Red Hawk Community,

👋 Meet Ms. Tonya!

We’re excited to introduce Tonya Hemphill, one of our wonderful Kindergarten Paraprofessionals! Our students know her as Ms. Tonya, and we are so lucky to have her as part of the Red Hawk community. We’re excited to highlight her as our September Staff Spotlight! ✨

🏫 How did you arrive at RHE?

When my son was in kindergarten (he’s a third grader now), the Kindergarten Paraprofessional position was newly introduced. I applied, and I was lucky enough to be chosen!

🏈 What is a fun fact about you?

I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and I’m a proud and devoted Ohio State Buckeye football fan! ❤️🏈

🎨 What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy spending time with my family and doing arts and crafts of any kind! ✂️🖍️

💛 Do you have any “pearls of wisdom” for parents?

“Red Hawk is a great place to be because the exceptional staff creates a positive, supportive energy that radiates throughout the entire school.”

🦅❤️ We’re so glad you’re part of Red Hawk, Ms. Tonya!

Thank you for helping our youngest Red Hawk students learn, grow, and feel supported every day! 🌟❤️
