👩‍🚒👩‍⚕️ Hello from the Infant Room! 👮‍♀️👨‍🚒

This past week, our little learners are discovering all about Community Helpers!

💕 We’re learning about the special people in our community who help, care for, and keep us safe every day.

🎨 Our little artists enjoyed creating community-helper-themed artwork while exploring colors, textures, and different art materials.

👐 We explored hands-on sensory activities that encouraged our infants to touch, feel, scoop, and discover while learning through their senses.

🎶 We sang songs about community helpers, listened to fun sounds, and danced and moved along to music! 🎵

Through stories, play, music, and hands-on activities, our little ones are building new vocabulary, exploring their world, and learning about the amazing helpers all around us. 🥰

We’re so thankful for all the community helpers who make our world a better place! 💕👩‍🚒👮‍♂️👩‍⚕️

✨Hello from Toddlerland✨

Last week we had SO much fun kicking off our camping theme ⛺️🌲🏕️🥾

The kids got to play in a camping themed sensory bin as well as make some camping theme art projects. During music time throughout the week the children got to listen to camping songs.

Some skills the children got to work on last week were drinking from an open cup, shape identification, buckling, turning pages in a book and lots more! We went outside and had so much fun while enjoying the beautiful weather ☀️

🥳🥳 SCREAMING a huge Happy Birthday to the woman behind it all. The one who is always there for literally everyone for any reason. She sacrifices her peace and quiet for everyone’s sanity.

Jessica Brown all of the children in your care are truly blessed. As well as all the employees that you have working at both locations. You are the most heartfelt, loving, and caring person. We are so lucky! 🤩

☀️🏖️ Hello from our friends in Early Learners 🏖️☀️

We had so much fun learning all about the beach again last week!

We explored the amazing animals we might see at the beach, talked about the different sensory experiences we can enjoy, like the feel of soft sand, cool water, and rough seashells. We also learned about what we wear to stay safe and comfortable in the sun, along with water safety!

Through hands-on activities, stories, and play, our little learners used their senses, built their vocabulary, and had a wonderful time imagining a day at the beach. 🌊🐚🦀🐠

We love watching our Early Learners learn through exploration and play! 💙

Hello from Toddlerland ♥️

Last week we had a lot of fun wrapping up our beach theme! We made some more beach themed art projects, the kids got to play in a beach themed sensory bin, and we had water play 💦

To go along with our beach theme our focus words of the week were sun, ocean, seashell, sand, swimming and crabs 🦀

Some skills we worked on last week were sharing, stacking blocks, turning pages in a book, using/holding a spoon correctly, buckling and drinking from an open cup. The kiddos are getting so good at these skills! We are so proud of them 💕

Last week we also got to celebrate one of our munchkins turning 2 🎉🥳

Of course we got outside to enjoy the sunshine ☀️

Hello from Preschool!

This is our last week of ocean adventures! We made our very own boats this week and played in water to try sailing them! 🌊

Next we used salt and watercolor to make saltwater painted shells! 🐚

Lastly we read Magic Treehouse Shadow of the shark, we really enjoyed it! 📖

Hello from the Nursery! 💙

We had an amazing beach-themed week full of hands-on fun, learning, and exploration! Our little ones discovered all about the beach and ocean as we talked about sand, seashells, waves, and sea life through stories, songs, and sensory play.

The children enjoyed creating adorable beach-themed art projects, exploring different textures, and dancing and moving along to ocean-inspired music.

It was a week filled with smiles, creativity, and new experiences. We’re looking forward to another exciting week of learning and fun together!

Hello from School Age! The kids have been enjoying many fun activities over the past week. They’ve been busy painting, drawing, and being great leaders for some of the younger students. They also got to make their own snack mix.

We took a walk with our friends in infants and preschool and they did an amazing job helping to keep them safe and being role models! We were able to walk for almost an hour each time!

They have also introduced to Cat’s Cradle! They are learning very quickly and enjoy being able to play with others!

They enjoyed the new slip n slide for water day this week. We’ve enjoyed time outside each day, enjoying the beautiful summer weather.

Next week, we start our Camping theme! 🏕️

Last week we had so much fun learning all about the beach 🏝️🏖️🌊

We made some really awesome art projects! We made surfboards , jelly fish 🪼 and an art project that involved sand and flip-flops 🩴

To help the children learn more about the beach, we incorporated some basic vocabulary words with pictures. Some words we focused on throughout the week were: sand, waves, sun, beach ball, bathing suit, towel, sand toys and sand castle.

This week we are starting our camping theme and we cannot wait to share with you how much fun the kiddos are going to have.
