Our Erie Community Boating Youth Sailing Lessons give local students the chance to develop new skills, challenge themselves, and experience the excitement of being on the water with guidance from our dedicated instructors.

The best day to donate to the Bayfront Maritime Center is almost here!⚓

On August 11, the Bayfront Maritime Center Board of Directors will match the first $1,725 in donations, doubling the impact of those early gifts.

In addition, every donation made during Erie Gives Day will be increased through Bonus Bucks provided by the Erie Community Foundation, helping your gift go even further.

We recently partnered with Erie's Black Wall Street to give local students an up-close look at careers in the maritime industry during a tour of Donjon Shipbuilding & Repair.

Students explored the dry dock, learned how ships are built and repaired, and heard firsthand about the wide range of skilled trades and career opportunities available in the shipbuilding industry. Experiences like these help connect young people with career pathways they may not have considered while showcasing the exciting opportunities available right here in our region.
