What's special about our degrees? No two viewings are the same. Each time, you walk away with a new perspective and a deeper connection to the Craft. This summer, you have the chance to go back and rewatch some of your favorite degrees.

From July 1 to August 31, Thursday Night at the Rite is on demand as the America250: Summer Series — our tribute to the 250th anniversary of America's founding.

For Master Masons ready to take the next step, Join the Rite Night is also on demand. Witness the 4°, Builder on your own schedule and step into the next chapter of your Masonic journey.

Whether you're looking to deepen or begin your Scottish Rite journey, the door is open this summer.

Reunion season is winding down, and the long stretch of summer can put real distance between you and your Valley.

But downtime at your Valley doesn't have to mean downtime in your Masonic journey.

The Pathfinder program gives you a way to keep your quest for more light alive between Reunions through self-guided activities.

Have you started your Pathfinder journey yet? Tell us one thing you've learned below.

🧱 Many people think Freemasonry is just one organization…

But in reality, it’s more like a family of Masonic bodies that all grow from the same foundation.

And that foundation is Craft Masonry.

Everything begins there.

Before a man can explore any other Masonic path, he must first walk through the doors of a lodge and receive the three degrees of Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason.

Those three degrees are the heart of Freemasonry.

They teach the essential lessons of the Craft:

Brotherhood.
Moral discipline.
Charity.
The lifelong work of improving oneself.

Once a man becomes a Master Mason, the door opens to other Masonic bodies that expand on those teachings.

You might hear about:

🔺 Scottish Rite – exploring deeper philosophical and moral lessons through additional degrees.

🔺 York Rite – continuing the story of the Master Mason through the Royal Arch, Cryptic degrees, and the Orders of Knighthood.

🔺 Allied Masonic organizations – groups like the Shrine, Grotto, Tall Cedars, and others that focus on fellowship, charity, and service.

But here’s the important part many people miss:

⚒️ None of these exist without the Blue Lodge.

Craft Masonry is the entry point.

It’s the foundation stone.

And many Masons will tell you it remains the most important part of the entire journey.

Because the goal of Freemasonry was never to collect titles or degrees.

It was always about building better men.

Everything else simply builds upon that foundation.

Just like any great structure…

The higher you build, the more important the first stones become.

That’s the strength of the Craft.

That’s the foundation of the Masonic family.

⚒️ Freemasonry: where the journey begins.
