Our Surgical Technologist students were the FINAL group to complete mock interviews this week...and they knocked it out of the park!

A huge thank you to Trisha, Assistant Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services at the AHN/Saint Vincent Operating Room, for meeting with our students! She was impressed by their confidence, preparation, professionalism, and engaging personalities.

Our Surgical Technologist and Medical Assistant students worked hard on their MTAP projects this term, and today they had the opportunity to put their hard work on display!

During Research Day, students gained valuable public speaking experience by presenting and discussing their chosen topics with the school community. We LOVED all of their preparation, confidence, and dedication!

Our Dental Assistants had the wonderful opportunity to meet with Megan from Murray & Iszkula Orthodontics for their mock interviews!

All four students displayed a vast array of knowledge, confidence, and excitement as they showed just how great an asset they can be to a dental team. We are so proud of the way they represented themselves and all they have learned!

A huge thank-you to Megan for taking time out of her busy schedule to meet with our students. We truly appreciate your time and support!

Although interviewing can be a nerve-wracking experience, our students did an amazing job. They should absolutely hold their heads high and be proud of a job well done!

We can’t wait to see where their knowledge, confidence, and passion take them next!

Our Diagnostic Medical Sonography evening group spent some time this week participating in mock interviews with the staff at Great Lakes Institute of Technology!

They showed up with so much passion, drive, and confidence, and they truly made an impression on their interviewers!

They still have some time to go before reaching their externship, but experiences like this are helping prepare them for the next step in their careers. We couldn’t be more proud of the professionalism and confidence they demonstrated!

Our Medical Assistant students put their clinical skills to the test as they practiced properly donning and removing sterile gloves. The challenge? Removing those gloves without getting shaving cream all over themselves! The shaving cream replaced body fluids, giving students a fun, hands-on way to practice preventing contamination and maintaining proper technique.
