A Little Chilly Outside, But Lots of Fun Inside!

Even though the weather was a little cold this morning, we still had a wonderful time in our classroom! Our amazing teachers planned fun and engaging activities to keep our little learners happy, active, and excited throughout the day.

From learning and playing to sharing smiles and making beautiful memories, our classroom was filled with laughter, joy, and so much love! We may have had a chilly day outside, but our little hearts were warm with happiness and friendship.

A big shout-out to our amazing teachers for always going the extra mile to make every day special, fun, and full of learning! No matter the weather, we always find a reason to smile, explore, and grow together!

Because in our school ( Goddard Of Erie) , every day is a new adventure, and every moment is a chance to make wonderful memories!

What a fun-filled day at The Goddard School of Erie!

Our children had an absolute blast when Ms. Beth came to visit our school! She filled our classrooms with beautiful songs, fun music, and wonderful stories that had everyone smiling from ear to ear.

The children loved singing along, listening to her stories, and joining in on the fun. Some of our little ones couldn’t resist getting up and dancing around while Ms. Beth sang! It was such a joy to see their little personalities shine as they moved to the music and enjoyed every moment.

Experiences like this bring so much excitement and learning into our day. Our children are building confidence, expressing themselves through music and movement, and creating happy memories with their friends and teachers.

A big thank you to Ms. Beth for spending time with us and making our day extra special! We can’t wait for another fun musical visit!

What a fun-filled day here at The Goddard School of Erie!

We had an amazing time with some wonderful athletes who came to visit us, and our kids absolutely loved it! They were so excited to participate, learn, and enjoy all the extra activities we had planned.

There’s nothing better than seeing our little ones smiling, learning, and having fun together! We love creating special experiences and making memories that our children will cherish.

Ready for a little time to recharge? Parents’ Night Out is this Friday from 6–9 p.m.! Kids will enjoy pizza, crafts and fun activities while you take a well-deserved break.

Here at The Goddard School of Erie, our amazing teachers make learning fun and engaging by asking the children a special “Question of the Day.”

Today, our children had the chance to think, share their ideas, and give their own unique answers. It was so wonderful to see how excited they were to participate! Some answers made us smile, some made us laugh, and all of them showed just how creative, curious, and thoughtful our little learners are.

Activities like this help children build confidence, practice communication and listening skills, learn to respect different ideas, and feel proud knowing that their voices matter.
A big thank-you to our amazing teacher for creating these meaningful moments and making learning such a joyful experience!

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
