At Erie's Public Schools, we believe that reading is a fundamental skill - and that students can open a whole new world of experiences with access to books. Join the Erie County Public Library on Saturday, June 20th, from 12 PM - 3 PM at the Blasco Library (160 E Front St, Erie, PA 1650) for a fun day filled with games, history exhibits, sweet treats, a free book, and a walk-away FREE library card the same day!

UPDATE: The tour is full. We will be having another one in August, so please text Ms. Courtney if you would like to be on the list for the next one.
We have room for 2 more families on tomorrow's Meet Your Neighborhood Walking Tour. Students must have an adult present and siblings are welcome. We will start at PB at 12:30 and visit 4 neighborhood resources, ending up at Denny's for ice cream provided by United Way of Erie County Community Schools program. What are you reading this summer, Panthers? The free little libraries at PB are stocked and will be filled every week over summer break. Stop by if you need some FREE new books to keep you busy! Thank you to all of the people who donated books this year to make sure our students had books to keep at home including: Tricia Louis and her family, friends, and coworkers at Erie Insurance, Weiss Library Methodist Church, our music teacher Ms. Robb's family (Kathleen and Paul Brown and "Aunt Fran"), Friends of the Library, former Mt.Carmel school library, and United Way of Erie County. We had so many donations that we were able to give books away during Read Across America, Summer Around Erie, and all throughout the last 2 weeks of school. Leftovers will fill the little libraries all summer long, and there are plenty of good books left for you to take and enjoy! Happy Reading!

Flashback Friday! On the last day of school Mrs. Miller's class wrapped up their volcano project with a bang! The took their dioramas outside to make their volcanoes explode and study the effect it had on the surrounding town they had created. What an exciting way to end the year! Well, that's a wrap on the 25-26 school year, and we ended it with a blast.! Our Last Day Hooray Party was quite the celebration. Thank you DJmikey Mike for the tunes, and our related arts teachers, schoolwide specialists, and Erie Insurance volunteers for all of their help with the activities. We gotta stand up and make it loud" 5th grade sang from Harry T Burleigh's arrangement of the spiritual Wade In The Water at their move up ceremony. These Panthers are a ready for their new adventure, Middle School! Thank you to everyone who made it such a special day! We wish them and their families all of the best and hope they know how proud we are of them. You will always be a part of the PB family!
