This is absolute truth.
Take Back the Night ended with a celebratory danced called "Break the Chain" from Onebillionrising It was empowering and energizing to see so many students from various colleges come together and stand in support for survivors! and by the end, feel more connected toward the common goal of unity and civility among all. Creating safe spaces for all to learn and thrive.

The SAVE team hosted the first ever "Rockin the Knight Away" event inside the new Recreation and Wellness Center on the Friday before finals week. We had more than 200+ students attend, with several other clubs providing fun and interactive games! The Rock Band Video Game system was a huge hit with students showin off their skills, and the inflatable rock wall challenged people to make it to the top! This event was in conjunction with the months of December's National Commemorative Month being "National R**e Awareness" The SAVE team highlighted the statistics on college campuses by placing them on sign stands throughout the gym, as well as by sharing with students the mission of SAVE: to empower individuals with this knowledge, and in turn become active bystanders to encourage reporting and the protection of their peers.
Thanks to Student Development & Engagement, APB, Exercise Science Club, Residence Life, and the many students who made it so much for fun!
