For those of you who are not familiar with Odyssey of the Mind, it is an international educational program that provides
creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Students apply their creativity to
solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. Through solving these problems, the s

tudents learn lifelong skills such as working on a team, evaluating ideas, making
decisions and thinking “outside the box”. Through the use of creative problem-solving methods the students have fun
and gain self-confidence. and from about 30 other countries participate
