Kate has lots of tips to help families when challenges arise with littles❤️ While littles do not come with instruction books, Kate is HUGE resource. Check her out for tips to keep littles occupied in restaurants (or other public places) with using a phone or tablet.

Our Great Oaks pirates are making a map to lead an amazing child-centered preschool teacher to their treasure…the Great Oaks classroom!

Our teacher will participate in crazy fun theme days, love to talk with puppets, sing songs and love sensory activities like playing with slime!

Message us for more details in this opportunity or check out our ad on Indeed! ❤️🫟🌳

Each month we get together for a staff meeting where we share updates on things happening in our classrooms and share our shout outs for each other. We even had a teacher write a shout out for one of our specialists who helps us meet the needs of our littles and guide our classroom management!

This month we started with an ice breaker similar to the telephone game. Each team made a line with each person having a sheet of paper taped to their back. The last person in the line picked a random card of something to draw on the back of the teacher in front of them. The drawing continued until everyone had a drawing then we revealed our drawings and what they were actually supposed to be…car, tree, dog or house. Lots of laughter this evening ❤️ We all need to take that time to just laugh.

In-service day for our teachers…welcomed with an individualized “Back to School” treat bag with their favorite treats, drink, pens, sticky notes and a fidget…honestly…I think they enjoyed the fidget the best ❤️

Shout out to Erie County Project LAUNCH for a training on meeting the sensory needs of our littles and the many ways they show us their needs. We highly recommend them for training opportunities, coaching for classroom management and navigating the many needs our littles have.

We closed out the day deep cleaning our rooms, getting our carpets professionally cleaned by Raley's Signature Cleaning Services and taking time to connect with each other.

We’re looking forward to another memorable school year!
