Stay alert. Stay focused. Lives depend on it.
When you’re driving through a work zone, every second of attention matters. Workers are just feet away from traffic—counting on you to slow down, stay aware, and do your part.

🚴‍♂️☀️ What a fantastic day with the Grove City Police Department at their annual Children’s Bike Rodeo!
It was awesome to see so many kids out riding, learning bike safety, and building confidence on their bikes. From helmet checks to obstacle courses, the smiles (and a few friendly races!) made it a day to remember.
A big thank you to the Grove City PD and all the volunteers who made this event possible — your dedication to keeping our kids safe and having fun does not go unnoticed! 👮‍♂️💙
Already looking forward to next year! 🚲

🚫 Buzzed Driving IS Drunk Driving 🚫
Think you’re “just a little buzzed”? That still means your reaction time is slower, your judgment is impaired, and your ability to focus is reduced. Even small amounts of alcohol can affect how safely you operate a vehicle.
A “buzz” isn’t harmless—it’s a warning sign. And getting behind the wheel in that state puts you, your passengers, and everyone else on the road at risk.
✅ Plan ahead
✅ Choose a sober driver
✅ Use a rideshare or call a friend
Don’t take chances with lives. If you feel different, you drive different.

A text can wait. A life cannot.
💔 Paul Miller’s Law was created to prevent tragedies caused by distracted driving. One moment of distraction can change everything.

👀 Keep your eyes on the road
❤️ Arrive safely

🚗 Mature Driver Tips for a Safer Ride 👵👴
Staying safe on the road is important at every age! Here are a few simple tips to help mature drivers stay confident and secure behind the wheel:
✅ Get regular vision & hearing checks – Clear senses = safer driving
✅ Avoid driving at night or in bad weather if visibility is limited
✅ Keep up with vehicle maintenance – brakes, tires, and lights matter
✅ Stay active – flexibility and strength help with reaction time
✅ Plan your route ahead of time to reduce stress and distractions
✅ Leave extra space between vehicles and take your time
🛑 Remember: Safety isn’t about age—it’s about awareness.

When you are tired, you react slower, your judgment and your vision are impaired and you have problems understanding and remembering things.

Driving while fatigued has similar effects as driving under the influence of alcohol. Being awake for 18 hours impairs your driving about as much as a blood alcohol level of .05 percent. Being awake for 24 consecutive hours impairs your driving as much as having a blood alcohol level of .10 percent.

If you are tired enough, you will fall asleep and never even know it. Sleeping behind the wheel for even a few seconds is enough to kill you. Teens who sleep less than eight hours a night are at increased risk for vehicle crashes. The best thing to do if you begin to feel tired while driving is to stop driving.

It was a great day being able to go back to First District Elementary School. It was a pleasure reconnecting with the students and staff.

I had the opportunity to team up with Officer Mogel to talk with the kids about the importance of wearing seatbelts and staying safe while riding on school buses. These simple habits can make a big difference in keeping everyone safe every day.

Thank you to the school for welcoming us—we’re proud to be part of helping our young students learn how to stay safe! 🚓🚌💺
