5 more things I would do to ensure ALL of my questions are answered...

🔹 Make it easy to answer
Yes, how your message is presented matters. Shorten the message, number each question, separate questions from background information

🔹 Be specific about what you need
Always explain what cannot move forward without their answers. Use phrases like “Please respond to all three questions by Monday so we can stay on track” You can also offer either/or options when possible.

🔹 Match the message to the person
Effective communication requires adapting according to the receiver. Some people skim, get overwhelmed, or struggle with long messages. It's never a bad idea to schedule a quick call to confirm they receive the message.

🔹 Follow up without the frustration showing
Address the missing information and share best practices when working with you especially if this is a client you will be working with on a regular basis.
“Thank you—I have #1. I still need #2 and #3.”
“Bringing these two questions back to the top.”

🔹 Challenge the assumption
This one might suck to hear but being an excellent communicator includes adapting when the current approach repeatedly isn’t working
Their response patters is certainly useful feedback but I want to remind you that incomplete answers don’t automatically mean they don’t care
