It is that time of year again! Testing time! Testing IS required in Pennsylvania in grades 3, 5 and 8. It must be done and your evaluator must confirm it was done but the actual results hold no real weight, so typically I recommend taking the online, untimed CAT. It is a good gauge of where you are but is definitely NOT the only indicator of success. I recommend having your kids do it because it is necessary by law but I definitely wouldn't stress over it, they can take breaks, eat snacks, and do their best. Here is the link of the one we use:

Hey there everyone! What a year it has been! Just think of all of the life lessons learned! I am so excited to hear what you have been up to and I will begin scheduling evaluations in April. I am going to try booking appointments online so stay tuned for a link. Due to pandemic concerns I will be doing virtual evaluations where you can share with me your digital portfolio and we can do a Zoom or FaceTime chat, or I am willing to meet with families outdoors. I will be fully vaccinated by the time evaluations happen so I hope that also puts your mind at ease. In the mean time, if you have any questions or need any help, please reach out!
