A VERY WELL-DESERVED CONGRATULATIONS to our newest Fall 2025 GRADUATES, who had their Commencement at TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy earlier this week!

We were happy to honor students graduating from the Massage Therapist program at Great Lakes Institute of Technology and the Cosmetology Operator program at Toni&Guy Hairdressing Academy - Erie!

We were also delighted to welcome Tony Piccirillo, former Executive Director of Great Lakes Institute of Technology and TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy, to give our commencement address for the evening.

Yesterday, we celebrated Hannah “Bo” Alexander’s completion of her 1,250 hours of TONI&GUY Hairdressing education. Hannah worked very hard while in school and overcame many challenges in the process. We are all very proud of Hannah for seeing her journey here at TONI&GUY to completion.

Earlier this week, some of our graduates organized a “clap out” for Brandon Blackmer. Here is what our Chief Executive Officer, Sean Kuhn, had to say:

“Many of you know that Brandon was involved in the beginning of TONI&GUY back in the day, so literally, TONI&GUY Erie is Brandon…and Brandon is TONI&GUY.

Your ability to overcome unfavorable situations will provide you with time to demonstrate your true strength and determination for success. Brandon, you have taken this organization to its highest heights. You got it going in the beginning, you kept it going in times of struggle, and even during the most difficult year that it’s been in the shutting down of this institution, you’ve demonstrated great leadership and fortitude in difficult times. I’m telling you, if everybody had a chance to be here, there would be thousands of people here with the lives that you’ve touched over the years since you started this process. Our gratitude is undying for what you have done here, and we are so proud to call you a friend, a mentor, a colleague, and ultimately just a great human.”
