Doctors said he might not run again.

Aiden Seeman had other plans.

After losing nearly half his lung to a rare tumor, the Penn State Behrend student-athlete fought his way back to the track.

His story of resilience will stick with you: https://behrendblog.com/2026/05/21/from-collapse-to-comeback/

STANDOUT SENIORS 2026: "I chose Behrend because of the many opportunities it offers both academically and athletically. There are not many programs where you can pursue a degree in engineering while also playing a collegiate sport. I was also drawn to the small class sizes and the chance to build one-on-one relationships with professors. In addition, the opportunity to participate in undergraduate research was great. I was able to work on a project that combined my major in mechanical engineering with softball, one of my biggest passions, which made the experience even more meaningful and exciting." ~ Abby Tingley, senior Mechanical Engineering major https://behrendblog.com/2026/05/06/standout-seniors-2026-meet-abby-tingley-mechanical-engineering/
