Happy Friday Admirals! The first day of school is right around the corner. All necessary school supplies will be provided to students except for a clear backpack and headphones. Headphones with a cord and not Bluetooth is highly recommended. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Join us for a night of family fun before the first day of school. Our friends at Erie Playhouse PLAYtime will be our hosts. Doors open at 5PM and show starts at 5:30PM. Make sure to bring your singing voice. Concession vouchers only available while supplies last. No need to RSVP

We are gearing up for the new school year. Here are a few important dates before the year starts:

⚓️ Back to School Family Sing-A-Long - Join us August 17 at 5PM with our friends from Erie PlayTime for a night of singing, games, and fun activities at the Erie Playhouse. There is no charge for this event and families will receive a voucher for a snack and a drink while supplies last. No need to RSVP for this event.

⚓️ Perry Honors Society Induction Pinning Ceremony - On August 18, we will induct our first members into our Honors Society. Students who earned a honor card all four quarters last school year will receive an invite to the ceremony. Be on the lookout for invitations.

⚓️ Open House - Come out on August 20 to meet your teacher, see your new classroom, receive resources, and see your friends.

⚓️ First day of Pre-K - Students in Pre-K return to school on August 24 at 8AM

⚓️ First day of school - Students in grades K-12th return to school on this day. Perry opening bell is at 8AM

Today was our first ever kindergarten bootcamp! Students and families had a chance to take a tour of Perry, see their classroom for the first time, meet their teachers, meet our Perry team members, practice going through the lunch line, and each student received two polos and a pair of pants. Remember, the first day of school is August 25th. We cannot wait to see everyone 💙🤍⚓️

Join us on Thursday, July 30, 2026 for kindergarten boot camp from 9AM-11AM. Students must be registered and enrolled at Perry to attend. RSVP’s are required and will close on July 27 at 12PM. Tomorrow starts our Stop the Slide Summer Reading Kickoff. Here are a few FAQ’s:
• We meet every Wednesday here at Perry Elementary from 11AM to 1PM. Come anytime between those times
• Perry students can come with or without a parent/guardian.
• Students are dismissed after reading two books.
• Bring your favorite two books or choose a book from our library.
• Tomorrow’s incentive will be a free meal to Chick-fil-A for every student
• Remember, students will need perfect attendance to enter the grand prize drawing of an overnight hotel stay at Splash Lagoon. So don’t miss the first day😎
