Mrs. Ellen Romig Regnier taught first grade at the Lincoln School in Erie from 1940 to 1960. As a way to remember her students, she kept a detailed list and their school photos from each year.

Now, nearly 60 years later, we'd love to reunite her first-grade students with their class photo!

Celebrating her 99th birthday in June 2022, Sarah's family roots in Erie run deep. She served on Erie’s Historic Preservation Advisory Board for several years where she spent time working to preserve historic structures, documents and artifacts in town.
After retiring from the Board two years ago, I'm excited to have had the opportunity to sit down with Sarah and hear her stories.
