Annual EES Trunk or Treat is on the calendar!!!!

🖤Set up will begin at 5:30 p.m., and plan to
have trunks ready to go at 5:45 p.m.

🧡Please plan for a large turnout, around 400, and the PTO will provide each trunk with
one bag of candy to assist with costs. For the safety of the children, we ask that you only pass out
individually wrapped store-bought items. In the past, we have had an outstanding turnout and expect
the same for this year.
🖤Interested in decorating a trunk? Complete the link https://forms.gle/vvMrpe4VwKfjYSSz9 by
Friday, October 23. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the PTO at
[email protected].

🧡As always we are having a food drive for the Epworth Food Pantry.
Our local food pantry is seeking dry and canned food donations.
Examples include:
• Protein, including canned meat and canned fish
• Canned goods, like vegetables, fruit, soup and pasta sauce
• Breakfast items, including cereal
• 100% fruit juice
• Paper and personal products, like toothpaste, soap, and toilet paper

The PTO is looking forward to another great Trick-or-Trunk!

Thank you to all our volunteers tonight for helping to count money and organize some of the prizes for our Walk-A-Thon! We are so close to our grand total of $20,000. Mr. D is really looking forward (and so are students) to getting dunked. Let’s go EES we can do this!!!!

‼️$20,000 is what the PTO’s goal is to raise this year and you may be wondering what all this money goes toward. Below is a small list of just some of the things the PTO funds annually:

🐾Field trips
🐾ISASP treats
🐾 School-Wide bowling
🐾 Recess equipment
🐾 Candy for Trunk or Treat event
🐾 Staff Appreciation Week
🐾 Food for Para Appreciation Day
🐾 2 sets of Children’s Choice books for Library and 4 & 5 grade
🐾 Teacher classroom requests
🐾 Two by Two for 2nd grade
🐾 Food for Back to School Event
🐾 Conference food
🐾 Monetary donations to go toward 5th grade Passion Project and Spring Family Night

The PTO has, also, made large purchases for EES.
🖤Gaga Pit
♥️ Outdoor pavilion/classroom & picnic tables
🖤 Picnic Tables for outdoor awning areas behind the building
♥️Large laminater
🖤Surround Sound for the Gym

These purchases for our school, staff and students are not possible without our fundraising efforts by our students, families and the PTO.

We have 5 days left until our Walk-A-Thon. We are still taking money and packets. Help Mr. D and other staff get drenched in the dunk tank by raising $20,000.
We will take check, cash or venmo (-PTO).

09/29/2026

Reminder to send back your Walk-A-Thon packets and money. There is still time to get donations. Our Walk-A-Thon is on Oct. 6th!
