A little more peace, a little more art—and a wonderful crowd to celebrate both! Thanks to everyone who joined us last week for the opening reception of Imagine Peace.

Missed the reception? There’s still plenty of time to experience the group exhibition by Anamosa-based artist Xene Abraham and Project Create Peace. On view at Divine Word College’s Weyland Art Gallery through September 25, Imagine Peace explores how art, creativity and symbolism can inspire peace, hope and connection.

At the heart of the exhibition is a new peace symbol created by Abraham, inspired by both nature and sacred imagery.

We’re excited to welcome a new exhibition to Divine Word College’s Weyland Art Gallery! "Imagine Peace" by Anamosa-based artist Xene Abraham and Project Create Peace opens tomorrow, August 12.

The exhibition explores how art, creativity and symbolism can inspire peace, hope and connection. At the heart of the exhibit is a new peace symbol created by Abraham, drawing inspiration from nature and sacred imagery.

As a new year of formation begins at Divine Word College, we're reflecting on the journeys of three former students who recently professed their First Vows as Divine Word Missionaries.

Last year, Kim Hoa, Andrew and Vuong spent their Novitiate year in Chicago discerning God's call and preparing for this important milestone. If you haven't had a chance to read their vocation stories, we invite you to do so below:
