Great Expectations Great Expectations is a state licensed early childhood education program where the focus is on kindergarten prep. We are not your typical day care center.

Are you looking for an extended day preschool / Pre- Kindergarten program to get your child ready for Kindergarten? I hold my BA in elementary education and credentials in early childhood education. We focus on kindergarten preparation and follow NH state standards. We make learning fun! Great Expectations is an early education program where the focus is on Pre-kindergarteners ages 3 - 6. I run the program out of my home so enrollment is limited. I have taught as a substitute teacher as well as an intern in the Epping Elementary School. I am very familiar with Kindergarten expectations and will prepare you child for a seamless transition into the public school system. I have many great testimonials from children's parents who have completed my program and have received many thank you's from parents whose children were found to be above reading level upon entering kindergarten. Due to my small class size we eliminate sensory overload issues that can occur in large centers with chaotic atmospheres. I provide a loving, friendly, fun and educational environment from the comfort of my home classroom! This program follows the Epping SAU 14 district school calendar. We run from September through June, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 1:30 p.m. We are also offering a brand new summer program Monday thru Wednesday from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm.

Just a reminder that we will be heading back to the classroom on Tuesday, August 29th!
I can’t wait to see all your smiling faces!

A couple of updates for new incoming students or reminders for prior year students:

Drop off time is at 8:30 am. Please no early arrivals unless we have made pre-planned arrangements to do so.

Pick up time is before or no later than 1:30 p.m. for full day students. 11:30 a.m. for half day students. If your child stays beyond the half day dismissal time, you will be charged for full day tuition.

On your child’s first day, it’s easiest to make goodbyes short and sweet. Though your child may cry and try to cling to you, a quick hug and kiss and a reassurance that you will return for them is best. The longer the goodbye, the more upset the child becomes and it’s actually harder on both of you. As soon as you walk out that door, their whole attitude changes. They find comfort in their teacher and classmates and are quite quick to bounce back. The shorter the goodbye, the easier it is for all involved.😉

Tuition is due on your child’s first day of attendance for the week.

Your child will need a backpack with a change of clothes including undergarments in case of accidents.

Your child will need a folder to bring paperwork home or parent communications.

Your child will need a lunchbox and water bottle. We eat morning snack and lunch.

We have a zero illness health policy. Please do not bring sick children to the classroom.

I am excited to welcome you all back! I’m ready to make sure your children have a fun filled educational experience during their time with me!
