Today we made Dandelion playdough 🙂 our emergent curriculum allows us to focus on what the children are interested in. This time of year who doesn’t love to pick, smell, smash, and feel them! While making the dough the children saw the change in texture after each ingredient was added, the color of the water change to yellow, we counted, took turns, helped each other, kneaded the dough and enjoyed playing with it. This activity was full of learning math, science, sensory, language, and social emotional skills.

Coming up on my 10 year anniversary in Aug!!!! Wow time flies! Well today was a light crew and one asked if we could sleep outside. Well I’ve thought about it several times before and today we made it happen! So many benefits to being outside:) falling asleep to the sounds of nature, Enya, bugs, and wind 🙂
