🏀 EYAA Basketball Coaches!

Coach development video is up! Fair warning… I apparently had a lot to say.

No need to sit down and watch the whole thing at once. Take it in four 10-minute chunks between now and Saturday and we’ll bring it to life in the gym.

Next Saturday (October 10th) we’ll get together at O’Day Gym from 8:30–11:00 AM for our Coaches Skills & Drills session. We’ll run through drills, share ideas, answer questions, and record demonstrations for our new EYAA Basketball drill library.

New coach? Experienced coach? Doesn’t matter. Come ready to learn, contribute, and maybe make fun of me for producing a feature-length coach development video.

Yes, registration opened yesterday. Yes, we are posting today. Around here, that still counts as a fast break.

EYAA Basketball 2026/27 is now open for registration, and we are excited to get another season moving.

This year, we are continuing to build a clearer basketball pathway for our players:

K–2: skills, drills, confidence, movement, and fun
3rd/4th: spacing, passing, defense, rebounding, communication, and decision-making
5th/6th: full 5-on-5 basketball, team concepts, roles, transition, and middle-school readiness

Our focus is simple:

Sound basketball foundation.
Love for the game.
Leadership.

Registration runs through October 19th.

We also need volunteers. EYAA Basketball cannot run without head coaches, assistant coaches, setup help, scoreboard/scorebook support, and parents willing to help make the season work. You do not need to be a basketball expert. We will provide guidance, practice structure, and coaching support.

We are also exploring whether there is enough interest for a 7th/8th grade basketball opportunity. Since many players will be trying out for middle-school teams, we need parents to reach out directly if their child may be interested.

Practice and game schedules are still pending final facility approval, registration numbers, coach availability, and team formation.

Join us for an exciting night of soccer, family fun, and UNH pride as EYAA and Epping Soccer Club takes on Youth Night at the UNH Durham campus! ⚽️

📅 Saturday, October 24th
📍 UNH Durham Campus
⏰ Game kicks off at 3:00 PM

EYAA players will have the chance to participate in the International Walk-Out, halftime scrimmages, and more! Plus, stick around after the game for UNH player autographs and a group photo. 📸🙌

🚗 Parking & event are FREE!

Bring the whole family, wear your team gear, and come cheer on the UNH men’s soccer team!

Fall softball is officially underway! 🍁🥎

Cooler weather, dirt on the uniforms, bats cracking, and a whole lot of laughs. Honestly, what more could you ask for?

We have 10U and 14U teams hitting the field, with players also joining 8U and 12U crosstown teams for the fall.

More reps. More swings. More opportunities to play, learn, and get better. Even some games under the lights (in other towns)!

More softball = More better, as we say 🤣❤️🥎

We would like to thank our soccer families for coming out yesterday for our opening ceremonies for the 2026 season. It is always special to get our grassroots all the way to our u12 kids together. We wish you all a great season and lots of fun! ⚽️

🥎 Last Sandlot Tuesday of the Summer!

Join us tonight for one last evening of FREE EYAA Summer Sandlot Softball! Come out for some skills, drills, and plenty of sandlot-style fun as we wrap up the summer!

⚠️ Please note: Tonight's Sandlot will be at EMHS Field, NOT SAU Field!

⚽️ Opening Day for soccer will be held on 8/29 at Seacoast United. If your team is not scheduled for photos early we still ask that all families arrive by 9am to prepare for the ceremony. Please see attached schedule. ⚽️
