Jeff Stauffer, past Ephrata Area Education Foundation board member, has been announced as the Northern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce's 𝗔𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗟. 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁!

💜💛 A Wonderful Evening at Highland Elementary! 💛💜

The Ephrata Area Education Foundation was excited to be part of Highland Elementary’s Open House!

More than 100 students stopped by the EAEF table to create their very own bookmarks. It was wonderful to see so many students and families throughout the evening, sharing smiles, creativity, and excitement as they started the school year together.

While the bookmarks were a fun activity, the real highlight was connecting with students and families. Seeing their creativity and excitement reminded us of the importance of creating opportunities that bring our school community together.

As the evening came to a close, looking at our table and knowing how many students had stopped by, created something special, and taken their bookmarks home with them was a wonderful reminder of the fun memories made throughout the night.

Thank you, Highland Elementary School PTO , for welcoming EAEF to your Open House! We loved being part of such a special evening with our students and families.

What a special day celebrating 20 years of Javateas Gourmet Cafe! ☕💜

We were so excited and honored to be a part of the 20th Anniversary Celebration and Ribbon Cutting through the Northern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce for EAEF Board Member Ashley Scheirer and her family!

Twenty years is an incredible milestone, and it is a true reflection of the hard work, dedication, passion, and love that Ashley and her family have poured into Javateas and into our community. Their commitment to not only building a successful business, but also to being actively engaged and giving back to the community, is something we are incredibly proud of.

Ashley brings that same heart and dedication to the Ephrata Area Education Foundation, and we are so grateful to have her serving on our board.

Hi families! I’m Mrs. Kennedy, your kiddo’s Health and Physical Education Teacher! I’m so excited to get back into the gymnasium and start a new school year! The Mainspring of Ephrata hosts an annual "Back to the Books" First Saturday event where downtown Main Street becomes an interactive story walk. Families stroll from shop to shop to read book pages displayed in windows, culminating in a free book for kids, in which EAEF helped sponsor!

Connie Kirby, EAEF board member, read Fitz & Cleo, a book illustrated and written by local authors Jonathan Stutzman and Heather Fox. Not only did Connie read this book enthusiastically, but also created little Fitz and Cleo ghosts to give to the children AND printed out handouts for the kids to color or draw on.

We are so grateful to Connie and to Mainspring for creating a magical event for local families to enjoy!
