Track and Field was a beautiful day, as many families enjoyed the day cheering on their children and classmates in the many events. We thank God for the awesome weather and safety he provided to everyone involved. While there weren't teams this year, students still performed very well. Jamal Wenger took home the hardware in the first annual Home Run Derby, hitting five homeruns. The other four guys contributed home runs as well, combining to hit 16 home runs, raising $9,440 for the new school!

The 6th graders have their chicken bar-b-q fundraiser today as the result of the winning party in their mock election. The mock election was focused on coming up with innovative ideas to raise money for the new school. The winning party would get to execute their idea and raise money for the new school. If you did order chicken, don't forget to pick it up!

Grades K-6 performed their spring program last night. The students performed many varieties of songs, some old, and some new, focusing on the theme "This do in Remembrance of Me." A big thanks goes to Miss Wendi Martin for teaching and directing the students, and Mr. J and the A/V team for all the work they put in to make the program a success.

The lockers for the new school have arrived! The juniors helped unpack and move the new lockers, along with some desks, to the hallways and classrooms in the new school. Some of the final pieces are moving into place, and everyone is gearing up for the final move at the end of May.

This year's Roadside Cleanup was once again a success, as we met our main goal as well as our reach goal! We raised over $220,000 for our school, with a portion of that going to the new school. We were blessed with a beautiful day to be outside after having to deal with rain the past couple of years, and we thank God for that, as well as safety for all the students and chaperones out on the roads. Thank you to all who have supported our school, we feel blessed by your donations!
