The Law of Attraction can be a bit controversial, depending on your view of how it works.
I know some people have taken it to mean that you can manifest anything you want if you believe it long enough and strongly enough.

As I study this a little deeper, I believe there is some merit to this. Now I am not going full in with the theory that some people have, so bear with me.

If Jesus knew the thoughts of the Pharisees by His spirit, Matthew 12:25, Mark 2:8, Luke 5:22, that would mean we also can know things about other people by our spirit, and this is not a gut reaction, or vibe, it is our spirit within us.
Now, if it is our spirit reading, or knowing the spirit of the other person, you will know the depth of who and what they are. 1 Corinthians 2:11 tells us that only our spirit can truly know the depth of who we are. Does that, in turn, mean what you sense (in your spirit) about someone else is what they are at the core?
Never take anyone or anything at face value, because everyone wears a mask. I have not met very many people who do not wear a mask to hide what is going on deep inside. The few people that I have met who were not wearing a mask were not the kind of people I want to hang out with.
My point is, you will attract people who are like-minded because your spirit aligns with their spirit, and you will feel a connection with them.

You might say, how can someone with great potential get into an abusive relationship with someone who seemingly has no potential?

The sad part is that the person with great potential does not truly believe that they are worth more, and they will be drawn to people whom they believe they fit in with.

The Law of Attraction is based on what you believe about yourself at the core of who you are. You will be drawn to what you believe, and you will reject what you do not believe.

If you honestly believe that you will never have or be something, your mind will shut down your spirit from leading you to a better way. And now your spirit will recognize other like-minded people, and you will create an emotional bond with them around your beliefs.

This also works in a positive way as well, more importantly, do not ignore the fact that your spirit within you is very accurate. Your spirit is only telling your mind what it sees and knows to be the truth.

Now it is up to you to decide if you are worthy of what you could receive, or if you are worth more than what is being offered to you, and you hold out for more.

If you are in Christ, and you deal with the lies you believe about yourself, your spirit will be on fire, and you will see and know things before they happen.

And by having a renewed mind, the Holy Spirit will lead your spirit to greater things. And the greater thing is not money or fame; it is a deeper wisdom that surpasses your human understanding!

And that is what leads you to the greater things, not the world view of the Law of Attraction.

It is easy to say, “My identity is in Christ”.
When in reality, your true identity is a direct reflection of your reactions to what is happening to you.

Love your enemy challenge

Imagine with me for a moment, if we are spiritual beings that would mean what we do would have a spiritual effect on other people.

Now imagine if we loved someone, we would be sending uplifting and positive vibes by our spirit to them. Not only would they feel the love, it would push back any darkness around them and they would feel more empowered.

Now if that were true can you imagine how much our anger, bitterness, jealousy, envy can have a very devastating effect on someone who is struggling already?

Maybe that is why we are told to pray for those who curses us and bless those who do wrong to us.

First we have to stop and look at why they are wanting to hurt us. More likely than not, there is a great lack in their life that the enemy is allowed to work from.

Now if you send bitterness back not only is the enemy working in your heart, you are stirring the enemy in their life to fight back against you.

If perfect love casts out fear, can your genuine love for them go out by your spirit to their spirit and work to cast out the fear that is provoking them?

Here is my challenge, find someone that you are at odds with and struggling to get along with. Sit and think about how much they must be hurting.

Now without talking to them or writing any letters or text. Imagine in your that you are sending them love filling them up until you can see them overflowing with love.

Do this every day for a week and see what happens.
