🎺 Before the team even comes back out for the second half, this is the show that half the stadium came to see.

Pennsylvania high school marching bands are an underappreciated institution of Friday Night Lights culture. These kids rehearse for months — after school, on weekends, in the brutal heat of August band camp — to deliver four minutes of precision at halftime in front of thousands of people. The formations, the music, the discipline it takes to march a perfect line while playing a brass instrument from memory in 30-degree weather — it's an athletic and artistic achievement that doesn't get nearly the credit it deserves. Ask any band kid. They remember every single show.
