🏈 Spirit is in the air, Ephrata! 🐯

If you’ve taken a drive down Basin Street lately, you’ve probably seen the awesome display of Tiger Pride from our local businesses! The connection and support between our community and local schools is one of the things that makes Ephrata such a special place to live.

COMMUNITY FACILITY STUDY UPDATE: WE NEED YOUR VOICE!

Superintendent Ken Murray has recently completed two rounds of listening sessions with both our staff and community members.

What we're hearing so far:

☑️ Grant Elementary: Replacing Grant Elementary remains a clear priority.
☑️ Parkway Intermediate: Additional potential projects at Parkway are also currently being considered.
☑️ Next Steps: The final bond package details and overall project timeline are still to be determined.

🎭 Welcome Back to EHS Drama, Alec Lobe! 🎭

Ephrata High School is thrilled to announce alumnus Alec Lobe as our new Drama Advisor!

After graduating from EHS, Alec earned his BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University and built an impressive career performing in regional theaters across the country - including starring roles in Phantom and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Now, he's bringing his professional theater background, vocal coaching experience, and passion for performance right back to the stage where it all began.

"It’s a full-circle moment to be in charge of my hometown theater program," says Lobe. "The last couple of productions I did at Ephrata were under the guidance of Marla Allsopp, and it means a great deal to me to pick up the torch."

What to expect this season? Alec is focusing on teamwork, lighthearted productions, and creating understudy/double-cast opportunities so more students get their time to shine.

Join us in giving Alec a warm welcome back to the EHS community as he inspires our next generation of Tiger performers! 🐅✨
