Faithful Give is coming October 18–20!

Why support Crossroads?

Because learning doesn’t have to and shouldn’t look the same for every child.

At Crossroads, we partner with families to make homeschooling more accessible while creating a place where children can learn, grow, and belong.

We stress the importance of hands on learning and have a unique community where our students of all ages can learn & play together.

Most importantly, we take every opportunity to bring Jesus and God’s Word into our day. We are blesssed with kind and creative teachers who are invested in our students faith.

During Faithful Give, you can be part of what God is doing at Crossroads and help us continue serving homeschool students & families in years to come.

Last week we were excited to have Adam Fox, from the missionary family we prayed for last year, share at chapel! Adam led students in worship with some fun camp songs, shared pictures and stories of what life is like as a missionary and follower of Jesus in Nigeria, and ended with a challenge from Luke 5:27–31. He encouraged students to think about what it means to follow Jesus and what that might look like in their own lives, even when it isn't easy. As the Fox family prepares to return to Nigeria after a short break in the States, we closed chapel by surrounding Adam in prayer. We are thankful for the Fox family and the example they set of faithfully following Jesus wherever He leads!

Students participated in See You at the Pole today, a global prayer event for students. Their theme was based on Matthew 11:28 where Jesus invites us to come to Him and find rest. We long for students to realize the truth of this verse and find refuge in Jesus.

We prayed in small groups first and then gathered together in a large group for a final prayer, along with praying the Lord's Prayer together. A big thank you to our volunteers for leading prayer groups!

Monday was our first cornerstone day of the year!

Cornerstone Days are designed to give our students opportunities to learn practical life skills. This month’s focus was stewarding well what God has given us.

Throughout the morning, students cleaned around the school, painted fences, sanded benches and the Gaga pit, and spread mulch. They also learned how to care for chickens and bunnies, made treats for our animals, created homemade cleaners using herbs we planted last year, and were taught how to tie their shoes. Our MSHS girls prepared and served a snack to their hardworking fellow students.

One especially meaningful project was building a grape trellis and planting grape vines. This tied beautifully into our theme from John 15:4–5, where Jesus reminds us, “I am the vine; you are the branches.” As these vines grow and bear fruit in the years ahead, we hope they will be a living reminder to our students of Jesus’ words—to abide in Him, knowing that it is only through Him that we can bear lasting fruit.

We love to see learning extend far beyond the classroom! Thank you to all of our volunteers who made this day possible!

Our high school students will also be holding a BAKE SALE, so be sure to grab something sweet!

Meals are $13 and include a leg & thigh, baked potato, and macaroni salad. There will also be the option to purchase just a leg & thigh for $7.

Our high school students will also be having a bake sale!

Last week was our Annual Woodcrest Day!

It was a great day of serving & having fun. Students spent part of the day giving back through variety of service projects. They also spent time playing, sliding down the waterslide, and splashing in the pool!

We love this day every year because it offers an opportunity to serve others and strengthen friendships at the start of a new school year. We are grateful for another memorable day with our school community!
