2 Days Until School!

Learning is important—but so is playing together!

At Crossroads, we believe play is an important part of learning and an essential part of the school day. It gives our students opportunities to build friendships, practice teamwork, solve problems, use their imaginations, and simply enjoy being kids.

One of the things we love about Crossroads is Chapel Wednesdays.

Our entire school comes together for a time of worship and an encouraging lesson from a guest speaker.

We love hearing our students worship together and these gatherings have become meaningful moments.

5 Days Until School!

As we continue our Back-to-School Countdown, today we’re celebrating the incredible parents and volunteers who help make Crossroads possible!

From helping in classrooms and setting up events to encouraging our students and lending a hand wherever it’s needed, their time, dedication, and willingness to serve make a lasting impact.

We are so thankful for the families and volunteers who have helped shape our community over the past five years. Crossroads wouldn’t be the same without you!

6 Days Until School!

As we continue our countdown, today we’re celebrating the friendships that make Crossroads such a special place. We love to see our students learning together, encouraging one another, laughing, playing, and growing side by side. The friendships formed here are an important part of our school community.

We’re thankful for a school where students can build meaningful friendships that encourage them, challenge them, and help them grow. We can’t wait to see these friendships continue—and new ones begin—as we celebrate our 5th year at Crossroads!

We are kicking off our back to school countdown by celebrating the incredible teachers and staff who pour their time and energy into our students each day!

This year is extra special as we celebrate Crossroads’ 5-Year Anniversary! For five years, we’ve been blessed to learn, grow, and build a community together—and we’re so grateful for every teacher, staff member, student, and family who has been part of the journey.

As we begin this milestone year, we’re excited to welcome several new staff members to our Crossroads family!

This year’s final Cornerstones focused on emergency preparedness and severe weather. We began with Scripture reminders that God is in control, can be trusted, and invites us to pray in times of emergency.

Students participated in a variety of hands-on activities about extreme weather and safety. Younger students raced to choose items for emergency kits during a power outage scenario. Mennonite Disaster Services (MDS) brought their storm encounter trailer and led an engineering challenge where students in grades 3–HS designed and built houses to withstand storm conditions before testing them outside together. Grades 5–HS also created solar ovens, which we look forward to trying on a sunny day.
