Good news—Kyra the therapy dog will be here one last time on Monday the 27th from 11:00–12:00

REMINDER! The Utah ShakeOut is on April 16! During this statewide earthquake drill, teachers will lead students through a practice drill right in class.
It’s a great opportunity to learn and practice “Drop, Cover, and Hold On,” so everyone knows what to do in a real emergency.
You can also participate at home or another time that works best for you—being prepared matters!
This will be sent out if you are signed up for the emergency alert. If you haven't signed up yet, please do, the link is in the bio!

Stay Safe, Stay Informed – Sign Up for Snow College Emergency Alerts
Snow College encourages all students, faculty, and staff to sign up for the Emergency Alert Notification System.
In the event of a campus emergency, this system sends timely text message updates with important information, including safety instructions and designated locations. Signing up is quick and helps ensure you stay informed and prepared.
Directions to sign up:
- Go to my.snow.edu
- Select Quick Links
- Click Emergency Alerts
- Select Emergency Alert Sign-Up
- Go to Phone Number – Add New
- Choose Phone Type: Campus Emergency
- Enter your phone number in the available space
- Click Add
Once completed, you’re signed up!

Snow College will be participating in the Great Utah ShakeOut earthquake drill on Wednesday, April 16. The statewide drill is typically held at 10:15 a.m. and helps everyone practice earthquake safety procedures like Drop, Cover, and Hold On.

Get to know the Public Safety Officers!
On the left is Sargent Christensen, in the middle is Sargent Rasmussen, and on the right is Chief Walk. They do all sorts of things for the students!
- They give class presentations about law enforcement topics
- They also give discussions about the criminal justice system to the international students.
- They give citizens academy and a run, hide, fight training for employees.
- They are in charge of emergency alerts and any emergency situations for employees and students.
- You can see them on campus doing foot patrol and being visible. - IF you ever run into them, don't be afraid to go up and say hi!
- They are event security, both Ephraim and Richfield campuses.
- They are also at large student gatherings like dances, roller skating, movies, true badger night, dances, and graduation.
- They also take care of all criminal enforcement.
