A few years ago, I made the decision to relaunch my greeting card business with a new focus.
Originally, I primarily designed cards for children. But it had been weighing heavily on me that so many adults were going through difficult seasons in life.
Every day on social media, I see posts from people who are facing challenges like:
โก๏ธ Serious illness
โก๏ธ Loss
โก๏ธ Abuse
โก๏ธ Struggling marriages
โก๏ธ Financial stress
โก๏ธ Parenting woes
At the same time, I also see something beautiful.
I see members of the village stepping up to help complete strangers. I see women sharing job leads, helping families find housing, sending money, buying groceries or diapers, and offering words of support and encouragement to people they've never even met.
Those posts inspired me.
I shifted the focus of my greeting card line toward creating cards that give adults another way to celebrate and support one another.

I thought that for someone in a season of grief, sadness, uncertainty, or struggle, a card in the mail offering support or encouragement might brighten their day in a small, yet impactful, way.
