Extreme long-range gear!

This rifle is pretty much purpose built (overbuilt?) to shoot 2+ miles *extremely* accurately. It is a 375 Cheytac (lengthened) built on a BAT 2.5" action, with a 35" Brux custom barrel 1:10 twist, 2" diameter straight taper; from action to muzzle. 5" custom muzzle brake. All barreled action work was done by RW Snyder Custom Rifles. The stock was created to fit the build by PDC Custom, as well as the massive muzzle brake. The bipod I'll use for the record attempt and the 'King of 2 Miles' matches will be a custom counterweight Joypod, by Sebastian Lambang. The glass will be a Nightforce 15-55x Competition scope, mounted on Ivey 150 MOA rings, which in turn are mounted to a 20 MOA Bat rail. It's been a heck of a couple months, getting this monster built in time, thanks particularly to Southern Cerakote, that turned it around in less than 24 hours. Massive thanks to all of the sponsors for making this happen, but Berger Bullets, and Nightforce optics specifically, for all of their support over the years!

4000 yard ELR Training Course with Maverick Stroud and Darrell Buell: June 12, 13, 14. New Bern, North Carolina.

• Ok, this one is a little different than the usual training we offer! Anyone with a .338 Lapua Mag, .375 Cheytac, .408 Cheytac, .50 BMG, or variants thereof… do *not* miss this one. This North Carolina course is focused on Extreme long-range shooting. The closest target will be at 1 mile, and the furthest one will be past 4000 yards! The course will be a 2.5 day format, where Friday afternoon will be spent on site, with ELR precision lectures by Pro ELR/PRS shooter/instructor Chase ‘Maverick’ Stroud, and long-range wind reading theory to practice lectures by Darrell Buell. Saturday and Sunday will be spent shooting out to a max range of 4400 yards. Throughout both live fire days, Chase, Darrell, Robert Vestal, and Christopher Sykes will be working with attendees on wind reading, position, and technique, with the goal of being able to put your first shot on steel at a mile or more, every time. This was an outstanding class... With the titantic efforts of Kent Rush, an 800 yard range, complete with wind flags was created in less than 48 hours. Southern Cerakote rolled out the welcome mat with excellent hospitality, and facilities, and equipment for the classroom phase of the class. My thanks to the great bunch of guys (and girl) that showed up, the improvement noted over the course of the weekend was very impressive; more so considering that more than a few had never shot past 100 or 300 yards before.
